A solar melter to process honey comb and wax scrapings can be constructed easily out of recycled materials. This will allow beekeepers to reuse and recycle wax that might otherwise be thrown away. Processed beeswax can be used for making candles, lip salve, hand cream, fire-starters, and many other useful, value-added products. Once processed and consolidated, it is not susceptible to wax moths.
